NVT2 is an IP 65 industrial-grade wireless embedded computers, providing wireless capabities for remote management and monitoring, locator system with some interfaces for vehicular use.
The system is equipped with a GPS used to track a vehicle and a GPRS modem for real time interaction with a operative center.

NVT2 is manufactured into an IP65 plastic box; on the front panel there are a diagnostic LED and the following connectors:
- one 24-pin automotive connector, used for interfacing with the vehicle
- one SMA connector (orange ring), used for the GPS antenna connection
- one SMA connector (blue ring), used for the GPRS antenna connection
